Series 3: North Carolina Photographical Collection

Series Note: The majority of the photographs in this series consists of copy negatives and prints made in the 1960s by the UNC Photographic Laboratory from photographs supplied by Lucy Morgan of Penland, NC. Most of the images date from the 1890s to 1960s. Other negatives and prints in this series were made in connection with the publication of a history of Chatham County in 1971. A few other negatives and prints were made from originals supplied by other persons. The series comprises 841 black-and-white negatives, 914 photographs, and 25 glass slides.
